Accenture Interactive is the digital agency arm of the professional services firm Accenture, part of a larger trend of consultancies branching out into advertising. The company has been growing its ad and marketing agency business in recent years.
Perhaps more than any other agency, Accenture Interactive has been able to balance creative success with impressive growth. The company has made 27 acquisitions over the last five years, including design firm Fjord, creative shop Karmarama, and last year the Chinese digital agency HO Communication. In late 2017, it acquired Irish agency Rothco, and that purchase paid off quickly after the agency created “JFK: Unsilenced,” an AI-created version of a never-heard John F. Kennedy speech that won industry awards last year, including seven Cannes Lions.
The company is pairing that creative success with significant growth, hitting the highest worldwide revenue of any digital network at $6.5 billion for 2017, representing 35% year-over-year growth.
